Mighty Munchkins – Preschool

Our Mighty Munchkins group caters for 20 children from the ages of 3-6

The end goal of our preschool program is to prepare your child for school and give them the foundation to become a successful lifetime learner. Our Preschool teacher focuses on preparing your child with the necessary skills in language, numeracy, science, emotional and social, music, and physical development.

The children’s activities include dress-up, building with blocks, puzzles, reading books, telling stories, playing with sand and water, drawing and painting, cooking and dancing among many other activities. These activities give the children confidence by enjoying the learning process and feeling enthusiastic about their new skills and knowledge. We encourage the children to do things on their own and to be curious and interested in all that is going on around them. We talk to them, ask questions and answer their questions to help them develop their language and to express their ideas and feelings. Our Mighty Munchkins also have homework books to complete at their own pace encouraging them to write their own name, recognise letters, numbers, colours, shapes and many more things.
