We believe the learning process is one that begins as early as birth. Our diverse programs cover:

At Clever Munchkins we recognise that attitudes, skills and knowledge developed in a child's early years provide a foundation for that child's learning in later years. Therefore we believe in providing a program and environment that promotes a positive attitude to learning that will help children develop to their true potential.

All programs are based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Planning the program revolves around the needs of all the children (individually and collectively) and their expressed interests.

Our programs are on display in the rooms each week for parents to view and we welcome any feedback or suggestions at any time. Our programs cover the following EYLF goals:

  

  1. Children have a strong sense of identity
  2. Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  3. Children have a strong sense of well-being
  4. Children are confident and involved learners
  5. Children are effective communicators

  

  

All activities in our program aim to grow and develop the children’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical development whilst still ensuring there is plenty of fun to be had. Our program offers a combination of structured learning and free play where children are encouraged to choose their own activity. 

Parents are kept up to date of their child’s progress and development through communication with staff at any time. In addition, each child has a portfolio which tracks their child’s progress throughout the year. These are available to be viewed and discussed with your child’s primary carer at any time and are given to families at the end of the year.
